Austin, TX
Project Description:
This project was an addition of 20,000 SF of structural steel/glass structure. The renovation of 100,000 square feet included a new fire sprinkler system, fire alarm, and security system. The project was designed to provide new research space for the University of Texas’ School of Nursing and to provide a new regional campus location for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health on the University of Texas at Austin main campus. The addition created a unified, efficient and dedicated space for the School of Nursing Research Centers to promote future behavioral research, development, and productivity with a special emphasis on collaboration and improved internal communication. The research center space provides research team rooms, independent and group research offices for the research team’s principles, managers and research assistants.
