Demolished the existing Dining Hall, Surveyed the kitchen and renovated the 12,680 SF space. Construction was on a six-month schedule that finished on time and within the budget. We separated the project into three phases to getting the kitchen back up and running as quickly as possible. Phase One Finished out the corridor for a fire exit for employees on the second level, required by the fire marshal. Phase Two Separated the kitchen from the survey with a 1-hour wall as well as the mechanical duct, completed the renovation and the kitchen was put back online and operating while the survey of the dining hall was being completed. Phase Three Survey and Dining Hall Our permit did not break out the project in phases, so Square One worked with the COA Building Inspectors, Health Department and Fire Marshal to get the three phases approved and inspections passed.
