Project Description:

This unique and inspirational project is being funded by the HEB Foundation to provide an excellent learning environment for public school superintendents and principals to learn newer and better ways to educate the children of Texas. The facility is comprised of over 20 buildings located on Lake Austin on 44 acres. A PUD was negotiated for the site allowing for maximum flexibility on the design, layout and function of the center. The site includes 180 rooms for overnight stay of the participants, a large learning center with large meeting capacity, an administration office building, a Social Hub for entertaining and gathering at night, an amphitheater for outdoor activities, speeches and concerts. Also, on the site are casitas for visiting lecturers for long term stays. Other amenities include walking trails, numerous sitting area and landscape features.
